About the Trachycarpus wagnerianus - M2
Trachycarpus wagnerianusTrachycarpus wagnerianus is a cold-hardy palm from the Arecaceae family that is believed to have originated in Japan as a selected form of Trachycarpus fortunei. It is highly valued for its compact growth, durable foliage, and excellent resistance to wind and cold. Due to its robust nature, it is often considered one of the most practical palms for temperate climates.
The palm develops an upright trunk topped with a compact crown of relatively small fan-shaped leaves. Compared to Trachycarpus fortunei, the leaves are stiffer, thicker, and more resistant to damage from wind and adverse weather conditions. This allows the palm to maintain a neat appearance throughout the year.
