About the Trachycarpus Sp. Nova - XL
Trachycarpus sp. NovaTrachycarpus sp. Nova is a rare and not yet formally described palm from the Arecaceae family. Discovered in mountainous regions of Southeast Asia, it has attracted considerable attention among palm enthusiasts because of its attractive appearance, vigorous growth, and good cold tolerance. Although its exact taxonomic status has not yet been fully determined, it is regarded as one of the most interesting Trachycarpus forms introduced in recent decades.
The palm develops a straight trunk topped with a crown of large fan-shaped leaves. Many specimens display a pale to silvery underside, creating an attractive contrast when the foliage moves in the wind. Its combination of ornamental value, durability, and rarity makes it highly desirable among collectors.
