About the Cyathea cooperi Brentwood - XL

Cyathea cooperi Brentwood

Cyathea cooperi Brentwood is a cultivar of the Australian tree fern Cyathea cooperi belonging to the Cyatheaceae family. This elegant fern is known for its long finely divided fronds and its characteristic trunk that slowly grows upward. The Brentwood cultivar is appreciated for its graceful growth and tropical appearance, making it a popular ornamental plant.
The plant develops an upright trunk that is covered with the fibrous remains of old leaf bases. At the top of the trunk a crown of large fronds emerges, arching outward in a graceful form. Because of its exotic look, Cyathea cooperi Brentwood is often used in shaded gardens and tropical landscapes.
